![]() ![]() Which is completely fine if you're into that, but it's the same problem a lot of games have with boss encounters. it's not necessarily "harder" to level now, so much as more time consuming. In fact, I'd argue it doesn't make it an achievement to level a character now. It's a way to draw out leveling so that newer people (or people that just haven't) can experience the zones and quest lines, not to make leveling some hard, achievement thing. I think this is the big point a lot of people are missing. I like the new amenities that were implemented and would never exchange those for a tedious grind with no logical quest order and drop rates that were beyond ridiculous :-) The Vanilla experience will come back with the classic servers. is perfectly fine but reverting everything back to the days where you were drinking or eating more than actually killing stuff would be the absolute worst thing to do. So a little bit of tweaking with your foe's life pool etc. Leveling should be a smooth and fluid experience where you get to explore the world, learn something about the story and further your character's skills. ![]() I think fun is something else than playing a caster and having to sit down for 30 seconds after each mob because it consumes all your mana to kill it. I will never understand why people think that leveling should be difficult. If they REALLY wanted to return to vanilla WOW and good game play, leave the mobs alone and take out the stupid heirlooms where you can be level 20 and geared like a level 40. I've played WOW since it's inception but this doesn't really feel like a return to vanilla.Īlso, I tried to level this toon just on what I find, the gold I make, what I make selling on auction.no heirlooms but I'm getting killed out here by heirloom riddled alts. ![]()
